Singer concept sewing machine

The styling is reminiscent of 1950’s American Automotive design, it mimics the same blend of line and form but is in essence very minimal and avoids the superficial aspects of this style.
Developed from the design of the base and the slender lines of the casing, the form is a blend of smooth, organic, functional and mechanistic. The form of the ‘head’ portrays the precision of a serious machine.

Using recognised electronic control systems the weight of our new model has been vastly reduced. Supported by a rigid cast alloy casing, the machine is quieter, easier to use and totally portable. Removing the need for a heavy metal frame creates a reduction on the bulky visual impact of existing machines. The controls are arranged for ease of use and comfort, the running system is easy to understand and relates directly to the mechanical operation of the machine.
